Adélia Filosa Francisco Chicombo, PhD

ASET Research Associate

Adélia Filosa Francisco Chicombo is a research associate for Africa Sustainable Energy Transition (ASET) in Mozambique. During her PhD journey, she investigated energy transition in developing countries, especially in Africa, from a gendered perspective, which allowed a deep understanding of the technical, social, cultural, economic, and political facets of energy transition in these environments. As a lecturer, I employ various strategies to inspire the new generation on the importance of sustainability in all matters, especially in energy access and consumption. When not lecturing or investigating, she looks after Leví, her son, who is her greatest joy.
